ECS Group of Companies in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Building Enclosure Senior Project Architect to lead complex enclosure projects and serve as the technical consultant on investigations, testing, commissioning, and design consulting.

In this client-facing role, you will mentor junior staff, manage project teams, coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and owners, and ensure quality, schedule, and budget objectives across diverse facility types.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Architecture (NCARB) required.
• 5+ years of related experience with building enclosure consulting, including field investigations, testing, commissioning (BECx), design review, or forensic assessments.
• Registered Architect licensure required.
• Preferred IIBEC certifications (RRC, RWC, REWC, RBECxP, CBECxP) and NCARB certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead building enclosure projects as technical consultant on investigations, testing, commissioning, and design consulting.
• Conduct site observations, drafting/CAD work, testing plans, and interpret test results.
• Manage project teams, budgets, proposals, and schedules across multiple projects.
• Interface with clients, present findings, and grow client relationships.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate staffing with other managers.
• Prepare reports and ensure clarity, accuracy and technical quality.
