Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Tampa, FL is seeking a Building Enclosure Senior Project Architect to lead building enclosure consulting projects, serve as a lead technical consultant on investigations, commissioning, testing, and design consulting, and mentor junior staff within a collaborative team.

You will manage client relationships, coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, review designs, and ensure code compliance with IBC, ASHRAE, ASTM, SMACNA, and CSI to deliver practical, durable building

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering, or Architecture (NCARB).
• Registered Architect (R.A.) licensure is required.
• IIBEC or university certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage building enclosure consulting projects from setup through completion.
• Coordinate project teams and direct site activities with field staff and contractors.
• Perform design reviews, testing planning, and investigative work for building envelope components.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise field personnel performing inspections and testing.
• Prepare and review reports with clear, accurate technical content.
