Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting, LLC is seeking a Building Automation Field Technician III to help install BAS/HVAC controls, lead installers, and support programmers across multiple sites. You will coordinate with engineers, contractors and clients to ensure proper operation and acceptance of automation solutions in industrial, commercial and mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related discipline.
• Two years of hands-on installation, testing, validation and troubleshooting of controls infrastructure.
• Minimum of three years of additional experience with installation, hands-on testing, validation and troubleshooting of controls infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and coordination of BAS/HVAC controls systems on-site.
• Assist with startup, commissioning and closeout of BAS projects and systems.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, project managers and clients to report progress.
• Prepare project communications and attend daily/weekly project meetings.
