Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting LLC is seeking a Building Automation Systems Field Technician III to install BAS/HVAC controls, coordinate with contractors, and support startup, commissioning, and closeout activities across data center projects. This role emphasizes teamwork, on-site execution, and adherence to safety standards in a demanding industrial environment.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree or technical certificate in BAS or related fields, plus hands-on experience with controls

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical certificate in BAS, Mechanical/Electrical tech, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Install BAS/HVAC controls systems and coordinate with subs/vendors.
• Support startup, commissioning, testing, and closeout of BAS projects.
• Document progress, QA/QC, and field changes; provide updates to project team.
• Assist engineering surveys for retrofit projects and provide field data for estimates.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget completion of assigned tasks.
