Job summary

ACET, Incorporated is seeking a Senior Budget Analyst (Key Personnel) to lead financial management for the F/A-18 program at NAS Norfolk, VA. You will manage funding streams, ensure compliance with federal regulations, and support mission readiness of naval aviation assets.

Responsibilities include budgeting accuracy, variance analysis, long-range projections, and delivering executive briefs for program leadership. U.S. citizenship required; DoD security clearance preferred or required.

Qualifications

• MA or MS degree from an accredited institution.
• Over 10 years of progressive defense financial management, budget formulation, or accounting analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, quality control, and validation of program budget estimates per federal regulations.
• Interpret, reconcile budgeting and accounting reports to identify variances and optimize funding.
• Architect long-range projections, spend plans, and budget justification aligned with NAVAIR schedules.
• Prepare executive-grade financial status briefs and formal correspondence for program leadership.
• Oversee PPBE cycle alignment and compliance with FMR.
