Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated in Virginia Beach/Norfolk area seeks a Senior Budget Analyst, designated as Key Personnel, to lead high-level financial management for the F/A-18 program at NAS Norfolk, VA. You will manage extensive funding streams and ensure compliance with federal regulations to sustain naval aviation assets.

The role requires DoD-level budgeting expertise, MA/MS degree, and 10+ years of defense financial experience.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• MA or MS degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of progressive defense financial management, budget formulation, or accounting analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, quality control, and validation of program budget estimates per federal regulations.
• Interpret, reconcile budgeting/ accounting reports to identify trends and optimize funding.
• Architect long-range projections, spend plans, and budget justifications for NAVAIR/DoD schedules.
• Prepare executive-grade financial status briefs and formal correspondence for program leadership.
• Oversee PPBE cycle alignment and DoD FMR compliance.
