Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated seeks a Senior Budget Analyst to lead financial management for the F/A-18 program at NAS Norfolk, VA. You will manage funding streams and ensure compliance with federal regulations to safeguard mission readiness.

Responsibilities include evaluating budget estimates, reconciling reports, developing long-range projections, and delivering executive briefs.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain.
• MA or MS degree from an accredited institution.
• Over 10 years of progressive defense financial management experience.
• Strong analytical, data‑modeling, and Navy ERP proficiency.
• Ability to interface with senior military and civilian stakeholders.
• Experience supporting NAVAIR and Navy funding frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, QC, and validation of program budget estimates per federal regs.
• Interpret and reconcile budgeting and accounting reports to identify trends.
• Architect long-range projections, spend plans, and budget justifications.
• Synthesize metrics to deliver executive briefs for program leadership.
• Oversee PPBE cycle alignment and DoD FMR compliance.
