Job summary

ACET, Inc. is seeking a Senior Budget Analyst to lead financial management for the F/A-18 program at NAS Norfolk, VA.

You will act as a principal financial advisor, overseeing budget formulations and translating complex accounting data into strategic recommendations to sustain naval aviation capabilities. Required: DoD Secret clearance eligibility, MA or MS, 10+ years in financial management or budgeting, deep PPBE/FMR expertise.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (MS) degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of progressive financial management, budgeting, or accounting analysis experience.
• Deep expertise in PPBE cycle and the DoD FMR.
• Strong analytical, data-modeling, and executive communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead examination and validation of program budget estimates per NAVAIR procedures and regs.
• Interpret budgeting reports to identify trends and ensure optimal execution metrics.
• Formulate long-range funding projections and budget justifications for aircraft acquisition and sustainment.
• Prepare executive-status updates and briefs for program leadership.
