Job summary

ACET, a veteran-owned IT and systems engineering firm, seeks a Senior Budget Analyst for the F/A-18 program at NAS Patuxent River. You will lead budget formulations, translate accounting data for strategic decisions, and ensure compliance across defense funding streams to sustain naval aviation capabilities.

You will coordinate with senior stakeholders and translate complex financial information into executive briefs, supporting program leadership with accurate forecasts and justifications.

Qualifications

• Must have DoD Secret Clearance or be able to obtain one.
• MA or MS degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years in financial management, budgeting, or accounting—naval/MDAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead examination and validation of program budgets following NAVAIR procedures and federal regs.
• Interpret budgeting reports to identify trends and evaluate variances.
• Develop long-range funding projections and budget justifications for complex aircraft programs.
• Deliver executive-level financial status updates to program leadership.
