Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is seeking a Senior Budget Analyst to lead financial management and execution strategies for the F/A-18 variants program at NAS Norfolk, VA.

You will act as a principal financial advisor, ensuring compliance with DoD regulations while optimizing resource allocation to support naval aviation capabilities. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, an MA/MS, and 10+ years in budgeting and financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
• MA or MS degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of progressive financial management, budgeting, or accounting analysis experience (naval aviation or MDAPs preferred).
• Deep expertise in PPBE cycle and the DoD FMR.
• Analytical and data-modeling capabilities with executive communication presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead examination and validation of program budget estimates per NAVAIR procedures and federal regulations.
• Interpret budgeting reports to identify trends and evaluate variance and execution metrics.
• Formulate long-range funding projections and budget justifications for aircraft acquisition and sustainment schedules.
• Prepare executive-grade financial status updates and briefs for program leadership.
