Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Sr. BRT Design Project Manager for our Boston, MA and Washington DC offices. Be a technical lead on Bus Rapid Transit projects from concept through construction, helping transform communities and meet client objectives.

In this role you will provide project management on medium to large BRT programs, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and mentor technical staff. You will also support business development through proposals, marketing efforts, and industry publications, with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
12+ years of corridor/transit project experience.
Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.
Experience collaborating with agencies on transit projects.
Strong organizational and communications skills.
Experience with public meetings and knowledge of neighborhoods and leadership.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical expert on BRT projects from concept to construction.
Provide project management on medium to large projects with scope, schedule, and budget control.
Support larger projects as Program/Project/Task/Segment Manager.
Assist local offices pursuing or delivering BRT projects nationwide.
Demonstrate expertise through conference presentations and paper publication.
Assist in growing the business by building relationships and supporting proposals.
Management of technical staff.
Adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and policies.
