Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Sr. BRT Design Project Manager for its Boston, MA and Washington DC offices. You will lead BRT projects from concept through construction, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and provide technical expertise to local offices withNational opportunities. Travel may be required.

The role requires 12+ years in corridor/transit projects, a PE license, and strong cross‑functional leadership and communication skills. A dynamic, growth‑oriented environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar designation.
• 12+ years of experience in Corridor development, Transit projects, or equivalent.
• Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) experience.
• PE license required.
• Experience working with Agencies on transit projects.
• Experience with public meetings and knowledge of City neighborhoods, community groups, and elected leadership.
• Demonstrated organizational and communications skills.
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert on BRT projects from concept to construction.
• Provide Project Management on medium to large-size projects with ability to grow, including contract negotiation and managing scope, schedule, and budget.
• Support larger projects as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Task Manager, or Segment Manager.
• Assist in pursuing or delivering BRT projects nationally with technical expertise, including travel opportunities.
• Demonstrate industry leadership through conference presentations and paper publications.
• Assist in business growth by building relationships and writing marketing proposals.
• Management of technical staff.
• Adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies.
