Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Bridge Professional to serve as Major Bridge Technical Director within the Bridges and Structures Business Class. You will lead large, multi-disciplinary bridge projects, supervise design teams, and ensure HDR’s high standards across project development and delivery.

You will guide technical strategy, mentor staff, and drive business development for major bridge pursuits while maintaining strong client relationships across North America and beyond.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Structural Engineering.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strategic thinking and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Champion leadership in planning, directing, and monitoring large bridge projects.
• Provide technical oversight and cross-team coordination.
• Lead design and production efforts for long-span bridges.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee QA/QC procedures on projects.
