Job summary

Larson Design Group is seeking a Highway Program Manager to lead a portfolio of transportation projects and supervise project managers, ensuring client satisfaction and successful delivery.

This role drives program performance, staffing, budget, quality, and growth, collaborating with engineers and leaders to meet LDG’s high standards while mentoring teams and pursuing new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of transportation engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Leads a portfolio of highway projects and project managers, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.
• Develops and cultivates long-term client relationships and positions LDG as a trusted transportation partner.
• Provides oversight to Project Managers and Senior Project Managers, resolving major issues.
• Balances workload and resources to meet commitments and sustain team performance.
• Establishes quality expectations and ensures timely, coordinated deliverables across the portfolio.
• Monitors financial performance, workload, backlog, risks, and staffing needs.
• Leads, mentors, and develops project managers and staff for career growth.
• Leads business development and strategic growth, including client engagement and opportunity development.
• Supports leadership in achieving annual business goals and long-term initiatives.
