Job summary

Larson Design Group (LDG) is seeking a senior-level Project Manager in New York to oversee transportation projects, including design, schedule, budget, and client coordination. The role involves leading a multi-disciplinary team, managing risk, and driving business development within the Transportation Group.

Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering degree, 10+ years of relevant experience (PennDOT a plus), and a PE or equivalent licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Ten years of job-related experience; PennDOT experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or other professional licensure strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and manages projects including design, communications, personnel management, budgets, schedules, quality control, business development, and client relationships.
• Assists in preparing annual business goals and multi-year strategic plans for the Transportation Group; oversees personnel management of assigned team members.
• Develops and tracks client proposals, scopes, price proposals, statements of interests, amendments, budgets and schedules.
• Prepares workload forecasting reports and ensures compliance with environmental, survey, and permitting requirements.
• Mentors project team members and sub-consultants; conducts performance evaluations and career development planning.
• Manages project risk in accordance with company policy.
