Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to lead and deliver bridge and structural projects across the broader region, including Atlanta and Florida. You will guide junior staff, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain high standards of technical delivery.

The role emphasizes field leadership, design-bid-build and design-build familiarity, and collaboration with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field is required.
• PE license is required for this role.
• 10+ years of bridge design experience or equivalent.
• Experience with state DOT standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver bridge and structural projects with technical direction.
• Oversee plans, calculations, specifications, and QA/QC per DOT and AASHTO LRFD.
• Mentor junior engineers and CAD technicians.
• Communicate with clients including state DOTs, municipalities, and contractors.
• Support business development, proposals, and client engagement.
