Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Bridge Engineer to join our Mobility team and deliver design, delivery and management of critical bridge resources for State, municipal and design-build clients in Georgia or Florida.

You will be co-located in the project office for a major design-build infrastructure project, interfacing with design and contractor teams, while supporting progress meetings and cross-discipline collaboration.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional work experience in transportation infrastructure.
Experience in the design of concrete and steel bridge structures.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
EI/EIT Certification.
Experience with AASHTO design codes.
Proficiency with bridge design software including Bentley/LEAP/Open Bridge Designer, MathCAD, Microsoft Office, and MicroStation.
Effective problem solving skills; ability to work with little direct oversight; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Co-location at the project office with frequent visits to the construction site.
Participate in project progress meetings.
Collaborate with other design disciplines.
Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve RFI’s and NCR’s.
Prepare reports for senior engineer review.
Track and meet schedule requirements for deliverables.
