Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to lead and deliver bridge and structural projects across our Atlanta and Florida teams. You will guide junior staff, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure design excellence and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
10+ years of bridge design experience.
Experience working with state DOT standards (DOT or comparable DOT experience preferred).
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver bridge and structural projects, providing technical direction and QA/QC in line with DOT and AASHTO LRFD standards.
Apply deep expertise in bridge design and analysis using Bentley OpenBridge Designer, MIDAS Civil, MathCAD, and related tools.
Manage multiple projects with accountability for schedule, budget, and risk.
Mentor multidisciplinary teams and develop junior engineers.
Perform bridge inspections and load ratings, delivering actionable reports.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions.
Support proposals, scope/fee development, and client engagement; represent the firm in meetings.
