Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to lead bridge projects in Atlanta and Florida, delivering safe, cost-effective solutions while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with state DOTs, municipalities, and contractors.

The role requires PE licensure, extensive bridge design experience, and proficiency with OpenBridge Designer, MIDAS Civil, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and related tools. This position focuses on quality, collaboration, and client-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of bridge design experience.
• Experience with state DOT standards.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver bridge and structural projects with QA/QC per DOT and AASHTO LRFD.
• Apply bridge design and analysis using Bentley OpenBridge Designer, MIDAS Civil, and related tools.
• Manage multiple projects with schedule, budget, and risk accountability.
• Mentor junior engineers and CAD technicians within multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform bridge inspections and load ratings, delivering actionable reports.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on innovative, cost-effective solutions.
• Support business development, proposals, and client engagement.
