Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to lead and deliver bridge and structural projects in the Atlanta area and across Florida. You will act as technical lead, guiding junior staff and CAD technicians while partnering with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality transportation solutions.

You will work with state DOTs, municipalities, and contractors, ensuring QA/QC, compliance with DOT and AASHTO LRFD standards, and contributing to business development and client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• 10+ years of bridge design experience required.
• Experience with state DOT standards preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver bridge and structural projects, providing technical direction and QA/QC per DOT and AASHTO LRFD standards.
• Apply deep bridge design and analysis expertise using industry tools to develop high‑quality solutions.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects with accountability for technical delivery, schedule, and budget.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
• Perform and oversee bridge inspections and load ratings, delivering actionable recommendations.
• Support business development, proposals, scope/fee development, and client engagement.
