Job summary

The Lead Writer at HOKA guides product storytelling across channels, transforming product innovation and athlete stories into standout campaigns. You will shape the narrative for HOKA's brand experiences and connect with runners, hikers, and movers worldwide.

You’ll collaborate with designers and creative leads, translate briefs into engaging copy, and champion the brand voice while delivering across digital campaigns, site updates, social content, and retail narratives. The role reports to Sr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 9+ years in an advertising agency or in-house creative environment.
• Authentic interest and experience in performance product brands.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, art directors, and creative leaders to define the narrative and copy direction for HOKA campaigns and brand initiatives.
• Brainstorm, craft, and present bold creative concepts and storytelling that spark emotion, capture attention, and drive measurable impact.
• Translate strategy and briefs into engaging copy concepts, narratives, and messaging that connect with runners, hikers, and movers of all kinds.
• Create and shape stories across a wide range of digital channels—digital campaigns, site updates, social media—ensuring every touchpoint reflects HOKA’s unique voice.
• Craft retail, experiential narratives, and product-focused videos that turn moments of discovery into lasting brand connections.
• Collaborate across teams to elevate athlete and product stories that celebrate performance, possibility, and the joy of movement.
• Serve as a champion of the HOKA voice, ensuring communications reflect the brand's personality, values, and storytelling principles.
