Deckers Brands is seeking a Lead Copywriter for HOKA who will transform product innovation and athlete stories into compelling campaigns across channels, shaping HOKA's voice for runners, hikers and movers.

You will collaborate with designers, craft bold concepts, translate briefs into engaging copy, and ensure consistency of product messaging while embracing diversity and a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling across retail brands and multiple mediums.
• 9+ years in an advertising agency or in-house creative environment.
• Passion for performance and lifestyle brands and alignment with a values-driven culture.
• Expertise in both print and digital marketing and advertising.
• Proven ability to craft persuasive short-form and long-form writing.
• Confident in presenting and selling creative ideas to stakeholders.
• Understanding of marketing and advertising principles.
• Interest and experience in performance product brands is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, art directors, and creative leaders to define the narrative and copy direction for campaigns and brand initiatives.
• Brainstorm, craft, and present bold concepts and storytelling that spark emotion and drive impact.
• Translate strategy and briefs into engaging copy concepts, narratives, and messaging.
• Create and shape stories across digital channels—campaigns, site updates, social media—reflecting HOKA’s voice.
• Craft retail, experiential narratives, and product-focused videos that connect with audiences.
• Collaborate across teams to elevate athlete and product stories celebrating performance and movement.
