Job summary

NBT Bank seeks an experienced branch leader to oversee a Tier III location in Fayetteville. You will coach a branch team, grow profitable customer relationships, and promote bank products aligned with customer needs.

The role requires a 4-year degree or equivalent banking experience, prior sales leadership, and outside business development. A driver's license and NMLS certification (or ability to obtain) are required. Travel is under 50%.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree or equivalent in retail, retail banking, or financial services.
• Prior sales management experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Business development and outside sales experience required.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and customer-relations abilities.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Windows PC usage.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.
• NMLS Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Builds a high performing branch team through recruitment, training and development.
• Coaches sales staff and contributes to branch sales results and goals.
• Provides customer services such as opening accounts and taking loan applications.
