NBT is hiring a Branch Manager in New York to oversee a Tier III branch, lead a sales-focused team, and ensure profitable, high-quality customer service. You will coach staff, drive sales objectives, cultivate new business, and collaborate with partner teams while maintaining branch operations and compliance.

The role requires a 4-year college degree or equivalent experience, prior sales management, and travel < 50%. Driver’s license and NMLS certification or the ability to obtain it are required.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree or equivalent retail, retail banking, or financial services experience.
• Prior sales management experience with increased levels of responsibility.
• Business development & outside business sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Builds a motivated and high performing branch team through recruitment, training and development of staff.
• Provides services to customers, including opening accounts and taking loan applications.
• Maintains integrity and compliance within the branch.
• Represents the bank within the community and participates in civic and community organizations.
• Decides loans and handles customer complaint resolution within guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
