Job summary

LauLau is seeking a highly experienced Bookkeeper to support US-based CPA and accounting firm clients in a fully remote setting. The role requires mastery of QuickBooks Online and strong US bookkeeping knowledge to maintain precise financial records while collaborating with accounting teams and clients.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of bookkeeping experience (2+ in US CPA firms), proficiency with QBO, and familiarity with Xero/NetSuite/FreshBooks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of bookkeeping experience, including at least 2 recent years in US accounting or CPA firm.
• Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Experience with Xero, NetSuite, or FreshBooks is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of US accounting and tax conventions.
• Discretion with sensitive financial information and confidentiality.
• Excellent written English communication for professional interactions.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple entities.
• Perform daily bookkeeping: transactions, journal entries, and accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Conduct monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare bookkeeping reports and support financial statement prep.
• Maintain organized documentation and compliance with requirements.
• Collaborate with teams and clients to resolve discrepancies and gather data.
• Leverage AI tools and modern accounting tech to improve efficiency.
