Topaz HR in Carteret, NJ seeks a Senior Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting and maintain financial accuracy. The role collaborates with leadership to keep records clean, organized, and up to date.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, strong AP/AR and GL knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software. This is a hands-on position with opportunities to influence financial processes and reporting.

Formación

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong AP/AR, reconciliations, and general ledger knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Dependable, proactive, positive and team-oriented mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Process invoicing, vendor payments, and collections follow-up.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Track and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Monitor cash flow and support financial organization.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding payments and discrepancies.
• Support day-to-day accounting and administrative functions.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance in all financial data.
