A growing manufacturer and distributor is seeking a full-time Bookkeeper/Accountant in Jersey City, NJ. You will primarily manage accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely payments. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience, strong data entry skills, and an academic background in accounting. Experience with Quickbooks or Sage is preferred. Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in bookkeeping, financial, or related role.
• Ability to handle a busy email inbox.
• Tests will be given to assess knowledge of accounting and comfort with computers.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable using computerized accounting system.
• Cut purchase orders and match vendor invoices.
• Monitor AP Aging Report and maintain accurate payments.
