Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Senior HVAC Field Technician to perform end-to-end testing, start-up, commissioning, and servicing of boiler and hydronic heating systems at customer sites. You will be the primary on-site contact, coordinating with project teams to meet client requirements while maintaining safety and high customer satisfaction.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 10+ years in HVAC, and preferred EPA certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred.
• 10+ years HVAC experience required.
• EPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
• Represents the company by servicing products and equipment on site, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Coordinates with team leader and customer to understand requirements and forecast issues for on-site work.
• Uses software and tools to diagnose and repair units following specifications.
• Maintains safety standards and manages company assets on site.
• Mentor team members.
• Occasional overtime or overnight stays as needed.
