Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks an experienced HVAC field service technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up commercial HVAC systems at customer sites. You will apply air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts while collaborating with project teams to meet on-site requirements.

The role requires 10+ years of HVAC experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and EPA certification is preferred. Ability to read blueprints and operate MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically 10+ years of HVAC experience.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• Technical school training preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
• Direct customer contact and servicing products to ensure satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment at the customer's location.
• Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand on-site requirements and forecast issues.
• Use software and tools, and read blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
• Enforce safety standards and manage assets with care and accountability.
• Mentor team members.
• Demonstrate flexibility for overtime and occasional overnight stays.
