Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an experienced HVAC technician for on-site service and commissioning across a diverse commercial base.

You will diagnose, repair, and start up HVAC systems, coordinating with project teams to meet client requirements while maintaining safety and equipment integrity. A high school diploma and extensive HVAC experience are required; EPA certification is preferred. The role offers strong growth within a global leader.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Typically requires at least 10+ years of HVAC experience.
• Technical School or formal training is preferred.
• EPA Certification Preferred.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
• Serve as direct customer contact and service products/equipment on-site, ensuring satisfaction.
• Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair units using blueprints or engineering specifications with tools.
• Enforce safety standards and manage assets and equipment.
• Mentor team members and adapt to overtime and overnight stays as needed.
