Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an experienced field service specialist to perform end-to-end testing, commissioning and servicing of HVAC equipment at customer sites. You will act as the primary customer contact, diagnose issues, and repair or replace components based on engineering specs.

The role requires a high school diploma, 10+ years of HVAC experience, and a preference for EPA certification. Travel is involved and safety is a top priority; the position offers competitive compensation and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• At least 10+ years servicing and troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment, incl. chillers.
• EPA Certification preferred (HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, etc.).

Responsibilities

• End-to-end testing, programming download, start-up, commissioning and service on projects.
• Serve as direct customer contact; diagnose, repair equipment and systems on site.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements and forecast issues.
• Use blueprints/engineering specs and tools to diagnose and repair units; emphasize safety.
• Mentor team members and work overtime or overnights as required.
