Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC technician to perform end-to-end testing, startup, commissioning and on-site servicing at customer locations. You will act as the direct customer contact, diagnosing and repairing equipment while coordinating with team leads to ensure requirements are understood and safety standards are followed.

The role is physically demanding and requires a strong HVAC background; EPA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Typically at least 10+ years of HVAC experience.
• EPA Certification Preferred (e.g. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).
• Valid driver’s license for 12+ months and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end testing, downloading programming, startup, commissioning and servicing on projects.
• Serve as direct customer contact, diagnose and repair equipment onsite to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements and forecast issues for on-site work.
