Job summary

GE HealthCare in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to respond to service calls, diagnose, repair and perform PM on complex medical equipment. This is an on-site role with 1st shift and relocation assistance.

You will maintain documentation, communicate with customers, and participate in after-hours on-call as needed. Requires an engineering or related degree and 2+ years of equipment servicing experience, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Analytical and communication skills to explain technical issues to customers clearly.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as needed.
• Experience servicing medical equipment is required; related military education accepted.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex biomedical equipment issues and implement repairs.
• Perform planned maintenance, safety and environmental inspections, and document actions.
• Lead technicians on repairs and coordinate with hospital staff and GE policies.
