Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician 1 to respond to service calls, diagnose equipment, and perform repairs and planned maintenance on biomedical devices. The role is on-site at client locations, with relocation assistance provided.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of equipment service experience or equivalent education, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with hospital staff. Willingness to be on-call may be required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of servicing medical equipment.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to customers.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required and no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex biomedical equipment issues and perform repairs.
• Perform planned maintenance and safety/environmental inspections.
• Follow GE policies, procedures, and hospital protocols; document actions.
• Communicate effectively with teammates and customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Lead and assist technicians in basic and complex repairs within the site.
