Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years related work experience required.
• 2 years experience in the general field of electronics.
• Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, tests, troubleshoots to component level, repairs, and calibrates to manufacturer specifications all types of electronic and electro-mechanical instrumentation.
• Utilizes schematics, technical drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Conducts periodic and routine preventive maintenance inspections on Direct and Indirect Patient-Care-Related electronic instrumentation/systems.
• Prepares and maintains records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance using paper and computer systems.
• Assists in installation of capital equipment purchases of Direct/Indirect Patient-Care-Related systems.
• Interfaces with manufacturers on clinical and technical projects as required.
• Maintains knowledge of advances in electronics and equipment changes.
