Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years related work experience required.
• 2 years experience in electronics.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access).

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, tests, troubleshoots to component level, repairs and calibrates instrumentation to manufacturer specs.
• Uses schematics, drawings, blueprints and manuals; performs preventive maintenance.
• Prepares and maintains repair/inspection records; assists in equipment installation.
• Performs support tasks within Clinical Engineering; interfaces with manufacturers as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of advances in electronics and hospital equipment.
• Provides after-hours on-call coverage as required.
• Supports continuous quality improvement initiatives.
