Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year trade school with electronic certification.
• Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills and sound judgment.
• Ability to communicate complex topics to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and safety standards in Biomedical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of medical equipment.
• Support equipment at Independence Health System locations; handle recalls and parts ordering.
• Provide electrical safety in-services and user department training literature review.
• Rotate shifts and travel locally between system locations as needed.
