Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years related work experience required.
• 2 years experience in the general field of electronics.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access).

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and calibrates electronic and electro‑mechanical instrumentation to manufacturer specifications.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections on direct and indirect patient-care electronic equipment.
• Maintains records of repairs and maintenance and assists in equipment installations.
• Provides support tasks within Clinical Engineering and interfaces with manufacturers on projects.
• Keeps knowledge up to date with advances in electronics and equipment changes.
• Participates in after-hours emergency service (On Call) as required.
• Occasionally works beyond the defined job description.
