Qualifications

• Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field with strong troubleshooting ability.
• Advanced knowledge of biomedical equipment maintenance, electronics, and safety.
• Experience mentoring or leading technicians and collaborating with clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and validate complex medical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections per manufacturer and regulatory standards.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to BMET staff and coordinate with vendors and clinical teams.
• Lead equipment installations, upgrades, and technology implementations with stakeholders.
• Analyze failure trends and recommend maintenance strategies and process improvements.
• Develop and update technical procedures, guides, and checklists.
• Document service activities and maintain CMMS records.
• Support regulatory investigations, risk management, and patient-safety activities.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours support for critical equipment failures.
