Job summary

Stantec in Albuquerque, NM seeks a BIM Coordinator to lead integrated building design through advanced BIM workflows. You will manage Revit models, templates, and content libraries, ensuring clash-free coordination with multiple disciplines and alignment to project standards and codes.

The role requires strong Revit MEP skills, knowledge of Navisworks and ACC/BIM 360, and the ability to mentor staff in BIM best practices while driving workflow automation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive BIM processes and standards
• Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, ACC/BIM 360
• Familiarity with visual programming (Dynamo) or automation workflows
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models and resolve conflicts
• Leadership to mentor BIM staff and drive best practices
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Security clearance check may be required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering and architectural disciplines for accurate model integration
• Develop and maintain Revit models, templates, and libraries
• Create and maintain project design models and drawings using BIM/CAD techniques
• Identify discrepancies and resolve through appropriate channels
• Conduct model audits, quality checks and compliance reviews
• Lead rollout of corporate BIM standards with other BIM managers
• Mentor electrical engineers, designers, and technologists in BIM practices
• Participate in design coordination meetings with stakeholders
• Implement workflow automation using Dynamo or Python scripting
• Support project managers in digital design delivery and scheduling
• Develop new BIM standards, protocols, and QC procedures
• Stay current with emerging BIM technologies and trends
• Coordinate digital delivery tools and templates as required
• Maintain software template files to ensure standards
• Ensure adherence to company drafting and modeling standards
