Job summary

Salas O’Brien in Albuquerque seeks a BIM Technician to support the preparation and coordination of construction documents using architectural and structural models. You will develop accurate drawings, coordinate across disciplines, and assist project teams through design and construction documentation.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years producing drawings, proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, and a solid understanding of BIM workflows. On-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience producing architectural and/or structural construction drawings.
• Proficiency with BIM/CAD software including Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Ability to read construction documents and apply codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction drawings and documentation from sketches using BIM/CAD software.
• Develop and modify architectural and structural models per standards.
• Coordinate drawings with disciplines to identify and resolve clashes.
• Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with codes.
• Assist project engineers and managers with document revisions.
• Manage drawing sets, references, and sheet organization.
• Respond to RFIs and support documentation as directed.
