Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a BIM Designer to develop and coordinate detailed BIM models using Revit and Autodesk platforms. The role emphasizes clash detection, model coordination, and ensuring constructible, compliant designs across multiple internal teams.

The ideal candidate will leverage Navisworks for clash reporting, Bluebeam for document review, and ACC/BIM 360 for cloud collaboration, with 2+ years in BIM and a relevant degree or Autodesk certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in BIM modeling, drafting, and design coordination in construction/MEP/structural environments.
• Experience creating, modifying, coordinating, and managing Revit models.
• 2+ years of Navisworks experience including coordination and clash review.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/BIM 360) or similar platforms.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Experience with Bluebeam for PDF review and markup.
• Experience coordinating models across disciplines and with linked models.
• Knowledge of construction processes and project coordination workflows.

Responsibilities

• BIM modeling, clash detection, model coordination, Revit family creation and maintenance, quantity extraction, drawing review, and design validation.
• Spend ~80% of time in Revit; utilize Bluebeam and ACC/BIM 360 to review documents, extract information, manage coordination, and support project execution.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure constructible designs that meet project standards and quality requirements.
• Contribute to ensuring accuracy, coordination, and compliance with company BIM standards and best practices.
