Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Senior BIM Coordinator - MEP to drive BIM adoption across the full construction data lifecycle, from preconstruction through turnover. You will lead BIM coordination, run clash detection, and develop project-specific workflows with cross-functional teams.

Travel to DMV area job sites will be required. The role demands strong BIM software expertise (Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, BIM Track) and excellent communication and presentation skills to engage clients

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience overseeing BIM implementation (MEP subcontractors preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture/civil/mechanical engineering.
• Broad understanding of municipal engineering, hydraulics, and process mechanical systems design.
• In-depth knowledge of BIM software including Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, SketchUp, BIM Track, Bluebeam.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project-level BIM coordination, including clash detection and meetings.
• Represent Clark in BIM presentations to clients and industry groups.
• Establish BIM goals and project-specific workflows.
• Setup BIM project processes (BIM Execution Plan, file formats, nomenclature, model coordination, data sharing, meetings).
• Facilitate initial BIM meetings and coordination sessions.
• Interact with stakeholders for smooth BIM implementation.
• Daily coordination with global/offsite teams for continuity.
• QA/QC of drawings and models; modify models created by others.
• Travel to DMV area jobsites.
