Job summary

Prime is seeking a BIM Engineer to coordinate electrical installations using three-dimensional modeling and to work closely with construction teams to prepare installation drawings and work packets for field use.

The role requires Revit proficiency, the ability to manage multiple projects, and active participation in BIM/clash detection meetings. Onsite presence and adherence to safety standards are essential for successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7–10 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in Revit is required
• Experience supervising and/or directing large project commercial electrical installation preferred
• Knowledge of electrical systems, installations and code requirements pertaining to electrical detailing

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with construction teams to create installation drawings for prefabrication from the coordinated model
• Coordinate BIM/clash detection meetings
• Independently manage multiple jobs
• Produce a clash-free, constructible model for installation
• Adhere to PRIME Safety Program and maintain on-site presence
