Job summary

CGS is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist to join our Financial Department in Miami. You will oversee the e-billing and payment cycle workflow, posting, charge corrections, and monthly reconciliations to bank deposits, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing.

This role leads a small team, collaborates with the Controller and Accounting, develops reports, supports auditors, and drives process improvements to enhance timeliness and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Five years of legal billing/receivables experience and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and billing software.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and present ideas to senior leadership and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee e-billing and payment cycle workflow, posting, and charge corrections.
• Prepare monthly, semi-monthly, and ad-hoc billing reports for clients and internal teams.
• Ensure timely invoice submissions based on established timelines.
• Collaborate with Controller and Accounting to improve billing timeliness and accuracy.
• Support internal and external auditors as requested.
• Supervise e-billing and receivables staff and guide performance.
