Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist to manage the e-billing and payment cycle workflow, ensuring timely invoicing and accurate reporting for internal and external clients.

You will work with the Controller and Accounting to improve billing processes, supervise receivables staff, and support audit activities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to manage e-billing and related finance processes with accuracy.
• Experience preparing monthly and ad-hoc billing reports for internal/external clients.
• Strong attention to deadlines and detail; ability to multi-task under pressure.
• Experience supporting internal/external auditors and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage e-billing and payment cycle workflow.
• Prepare monthly, semi-monthly, and ad-hoc billing reports.
• Submit invoices to clients within established timelines.
• Develop and distribute operational and billing reports for management.
• Collaborate with Controller and Accounting to enhance billing efficiency.
• Supervise e-billing and receivables staff; support hiring decisions.
