Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 3 years of utility billing, finance, or accounting experience.
• Or five years of experience with utility billing systems, finance, or accounting.
• Experience analyzing large datasets and identifying trends or exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure commercial accounts are billed accurately and on schedule.
• Verify complex rate structures including demand billing and peak-period charges.
• Perform audits, research, and analysis to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Monitor AMI billing readings and resolve meter reporting issues; audit processes for accuracy.
• Analyze usage data from AMI and research exceptions to create timely bills with minimal defects.
• Process changes to member accounts including adding/removing special rates and updating billing data.
