Job summary

Contact Government Services (CGS) is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist to join our Financial team in Arlington, VA. This role oversees the e-billing and payment cycle, including posting payments, charge corrections, and monthly reconciliations for CGS offices.

The successful candidate will supervise the e-billing and receivables staff, coordinate with the Controller, and contribute to process improvements to ensure timely and accurate billing across internal and external clients.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to manage e-billing processes and meet deadlines.
• Experience preparing billing reports for clients and internal teams.
• Ability to supervise e-billing and receivables staff and participate in hiring decisions.
• Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the e-billing and payment cycle workflow.
• Post payments, correct charges, and reconcile monthly payments to bank deposits.
• Prepare ad-hoc and scheduled billing reports for clients and management.
• Collaborate with Controller and Accounting to improve timeliness and accuracy of billing.
