Job summary

Avfuel Corporation seeks a Senior Billing Associate to join our Ann Arbor corporate office. You will create customer invoices, work with Sales to resolve issues, and meet daily deadlines while maintaining accuracy and exceptional service.

This role requires 3+ years in billing or related fields, strong communication, and the ability to analyze and address recurring billing issues in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of progressive billing, accounting, accounts receivable, or related experience.
• Experience in high-volume transaction processing environments.
• Proven success resolving customer disputes and complex billing exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Create customer specific invoices within internal systems.
• Communicate with customers and Sales team to resolve issues promptly.
• Meet strict daily deadlines while ensuring accuracy and customer experience.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring billing errors and implement corrective actions.
• Develop, maintain, and update process documentation.
• Train and support new team members on departmental processes and systems.
• Handle other special projects and duties as assigned.
