Job summary

Avfuel Corporation, Avflight Accounting, in Ann Arbor, MI, seeks an Accounts Receivable specialist to support cash application, invoicing, and aging follow-up. You will collaborate with Avflight locations and use Excel and accounting software to resolve discrepancies and improve cash flow.

Qualified candidates have an Associate’s degree in Business/Accounting or equivalent, 2+ years AR experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Business/Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years comparable Accounts Receivable work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Process driven with a high degree of integrity and ethics.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
• Demonstrated high level of organization and attention to detail and accuracy.
• Exceptional Customer Service Skills.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Cash application and batch reconciliation, with strong emphasis on problem solving
• Airline invoicing and customer pricing
• Work closely with each Avflight location to facilitate collection activities
• Making customer service calls and assisting with billing concerns
• Data entry utilizing Excel and Accounting software
• Associated filing
• Assist with special projects as needed
• Other duties as assigned
